Thanks to the high-quality "Inox-line" stainless steel coilover struts, corrosion-resistant springs, bumps stops, and dampers that are optimally tuned by our engineers the result is a balanced and sporty feel specific to each vehicle application designed for long-lasting driving pleasure.

The KW Variant 1 "inox-line" coilover allows you to experience an optimized balance of sportiness and comfort while driving. Even with a maximum vehicle load, the dampers always maintain a sporty characteristic.

With KW Variant 1 coilovers you can achieve maximum lowering within an approved lowering range that ensures a proper functioning suspension and adequate travel after your car is lowered. Even after years of use, you can easily adjust the ride height thanks to the dirt-resistant trapezoid thread and composite adjustment collar.

KW Variant 1 "inox-line" coilover rewards the sporty driver with its harmonious pre-configured setup. For each vehicle, our engineers develop a specific damper setup and spring rate to increase the driving pleasure with an optimal balance of sportiness and practicality. As with all KW coilovers, the engineers at KW develop the vehicle-specific KW damper tuning and spring rates with comprehensive testing on the Nürburgring Nordschleife and in the KW 7-post chassis dynamics test center.

The KW Variant 2 "inox-line" coilovers are the perfect solution for drivers who want more than just outstanding looks and adjustable ride height. In addition to the stainless steel coilover struts, and corrosion-resistant components built for long-term durability, the KW Variant 2 coilovers give you the ability to adjust the rebound damping characteristics with 16 clicks of adjustment allowing the fine-tuning of the ride comfort or performance to their satisfaction.

As with all KW coilovers our engineers develop vehicle-specific damper settings which undergo comprehensive testing on the Nürburgring Nordschleife and in our KW 7-post Driving Dynamic Test Center. With a KW coilover kit, the driving experience is more dynamic and direct. With the rebound adjustability on our KW Variant 2 coilovers, you can have a more direct influence on the handling or comfort of the car. With 16 precise clicks, you can adjust the KW dampers (firmer or more comfortable) without affecting the compression damping fine-tuned by our engineers.

The two-stage, patented TVR-A (Twin Valve Rebound - Adjustable) technology enables a small volume of oil to flow through an adjustable, conically shaped, low-speed bypass during low damper speeds, while in the case of higher damper speeds, the main rebound stage valve opens allowing a larger volume of oil to flow. This provides a big improvement in terms of ride comfort without influencing the safety-relevant high-speed range. There are 16 precise clicks available for individual settings, so you can choose between more comfort or more body control.

Like every suspension product developed by KW automotive, the suspension manufacturer, and manufactured in Germany, the KW Variant 3 Coilover suspension kit also provides a significant plus in safety reserves in road traffic. Thanks to the chassis with its high-quality dampers, springs, and elastomer spring elements, pitching and rolling movements during load changes such as evasive maneuvers, cornering, acceleration, and braking are significantly reduced. The braking distances are also shortened. Thanks to improved support and feedback, drivers not only feel safer but driving in everyday life becomes even safer.

With compression and rebound stage damping, that can be set separately and independently of each other, the damper setup can be customized to your personal driving preferences or vehicle changes such as weight, tire characteristics, or altered vehicle rigidity. True performance optimization is only possible with this unique, patented system. For example, this allows the compression damping force to be increased and get more grip from the tires, to improve cornering behavior and reduce squat without simultaneously altering the rebound stage damping which is optimally matched to the spring rate – a scenario that results in reduced grip and the associated loss of performance.

The KW Variant 3 "inox-line" coilover kit is the ideal tool for performance-oriented drivers and experienced tuning enthusiasts who place a strong emphasis on the overall performance of their suspension. Variant 3 features patented TVR-A and TVC-A technology that provides separately adjustable rebound and compression damping. The extensive adjustment range of the independently configurable rebound and compression makes it easy to directly influence the steering behavior, directional stability, grip, and handling characteristics for confident and repeatable results at the limit of driving dynamics.

With 12 precise clicks, the KW Variant 3 coilovers utilize TVC-A (Twin Valve Compression - Adjustable) technology and can increase or decrease the flow of the valve to achieve either more or less low-speed compression damping. During sudden high-speed impulses the spring-loaded needle valve and the spring-loaded main valve open to their maximum valve cross section, acting as a digressive blow-off characteristic to avoid transmitting undesired forces through the suspension into the chassis. This provides a better platform for the vehicle body and at the same time offers more comfort than with conventional valve technology during high wheel acceleration. The dampers come preset to our baseline shock settings right out of the box providing an optimal starting place for your car while providing a wide adjustment window for true performance optimization.

KW Variant 4 coilovers are a combination of our innovative, race-proven technology, as well as decades of experience tuning high-end sports cars, super sedans, and exotics such as the Audi R8, Audi RS6, BMW M5, Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 SV, Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat, Mercedes AMG GT and more. In addition to the individually adjustable ride height, the KW Variant 4 coilover kit allows an independent adjustment of the rebound damping as well as the low-speed and high-speed compression damping. Each KW Variant 4 coilover kit is delivered with a vehicle-specific comfort setting and with the integrated adjustment controls the damping characteristics can be set quickly and intuitively transformed to an optimized performance setup.

The 3-way adjustable high-performance dampers in the KW Variant 4 coilover kits feature independent adjustment of the rebound damping utilizing patented TVR-A technology, as well as the low speed and high-speed compression damping utilizing TVCLH-A technology. By launching the new KW Variant 5 coilover suspension, KW focuses on its successful motorsport suspension technology with KW Solid Piston Technology and modular design with damper valves connected in series. The KW Variant 5 assures precise and fast damping without delay in sports cars and super sports cars. The shock absorbers and valves react directly, even with small spring travel, minimal steering movements, and minor road undulations. Every driving maneuver and every input, such as those generated during braking, acceleration, steering, load changes, and undulations, are damped much more precisely. The KW Solid Piston dampers provide much more platform support to the chassis than conventional dampers and thus, depending on the vehicle body allow for lower spring rates to be used.

By launching the new KW Variant 5 coilover suspension, KW focuses on its successful motorsport suspension technology with KW Solid Piston Technology and modular design with damper valves connected in series. Thus, the KW Variant 5 with adjustable KW SPCLH-A (KW Solid Piston Compression Low- and Highspeed Adjustable) compression damping and the KW SPRLH-A (KW Solid Piston Rebound Low- and Highspeed Adjustable) rebound damping offers significant added values: more sensitive damping, cavitation-free function, precise high-frequency damping, low-pressure gas range from 6 to 10 bar and low hysteresis.

The low- and high-speed valve units in the KW Variant 5 coilover suspension, which are built-in series with different valve spring types and main valves, offer the freedom to individually adjust the compression and rebound damping with 13 exact clicks (14 characteristic curves) each in the low- and high-speed range. The KW Solid Piston Technology can also be used to cover a large force range when designing the characteristic curves; all the more reason to enable a completely new type of harmonious damping.
