Anti-Sway Bar Billet End Links | Front • R55/R56/R57/R58/R59
Fine-tune your sway bars for superior handling
Description
Description
NM Engineering introduces its advanced Front Adjustable Sway Bar Links, engineered to enhance vehicle handling and performance. These links are meticulously designed to ensure a direct transmission of suspension movements to the sway bar. For vehicles with modified ride heights, the links facilitate the repositioning of the anti-sway bar to maintain a neutral stance. Additionally, they are capable of eliminating sway bar pre-loading, addressing issues associated with inconsistently manufactured sway bars.
NOTE: SPEC-B front sway bar link kit is designed specifically to pair with coilover systems that relocate the sway bar link arms to a lower position; such as KW, JRZ, and other race-spec kits. The SPEC-B links are 1.5" shorter compared to OEM ones.
The construction of these sway bar links is rooted in the choice of premium materials. Fabricated from 7075-T6 aluminum, a material renowned for its high tensile strength akin to that of steel yet significantly lighter, these links are precision CNC machined in California. The superior strength of 7075-T6 aluminum—nearly double that of 6061-T6—allows for intricate machining to reduce mass while avoiding interference with brake lines and sensor wires.
Furthermore, NM Engineering has incorporated CNC-machined stainless steel ball-joint spacers into the design, leveraging the durability and strength of stainless steel over traditional 6061 aluminum alloy. A uniquely designed thin jam nut enhances adjustability, offering an additional quarter inch of adjustment over conventional alternatives.
The dimensional specifications of the links are tailored for vehicles with lowered suspensions, ensuring that the sway bar arms remain in a neutral position relative to the swingarm. Specifically, the rear links are shortened by 25mm and the front links are extended by 12mm relative to the original equipment specifications. This adjustment is particularly beneficial for enthusiasts with coil-over suspensions that significantly lower the vehicle's ride height.
NM Engineering is committed to quality and integrity in material selection. Only certified 6061-T6 or 7075-T6 grade materials are used in our manufacturing process, with a strict policy against the use of uncertified scrap or overrun materials from metal/alloy vendors. This dedication to quality ensures that every component delivers exceptional performance and reliability.
