Engine Torque Damper Bushing • PQ34

Under hard acceleration, your entire engine and transmission actually rotate backward due to excessive compliance within the factory rubber bushings. While these soft factory components do an adequate job of damping engine vibration for daily commuting, they also create a rubbery, vague, and disconnected response in the vehicle's powertrain during spirited driving or rapid gear changes.

To solve this drivetrain slop, NEUSPEED offers a precision-molded set of two upgraded urethane bushings designed specifically for your vehicle's lower engine torque arm (often referred to as the dogbone mount), which connects the front subframe directly to the bottom of the transmission. With the NEUSPEED bushings installed, your vehicle's throttle response will immediately feel sharper, and your shifts will feel crisper and significantly more defined on both manual and automatic transmission platforms.

Features

• Powertrain Stabilization: Drastically reduces engine and transmission deflection under heavy acceleration, ensuring optimal power transfer directly to the front wheels.
• Enhanced Shifting Dynamics: Upgraded structural rigidity prevents drivetrain movement, resulting in tighter, more precise gear changes without the "rubbery" factory feel.
• High-Performance Urethane: Molded from premium polyurethane to easily withstand harsh under-car environments, resisting the tearing and degradation commonly seen in factory rubber mounts.
• Direct-Fit Upgrade: Designed to install seamlessly into the factory lower engine torque arm housing.

Notes

• Durometer Rating: Rated at a carefully selected 70A urethane durometer, providing the ideal balance of street-driven comfort and track-focused rigidity.
• NVH Warning: Because performance urethane is not as compliant as soft factory rubber, you may notice a slight increase in Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) or engine vibration inside the cabin following installation.
• Vehicle Fitment: Engineered specifically for 1998-later Volkswagen Beetle, Golf IV, Jetta IV, and Audi TT (Mk1 / 8N) platforms equipped with 1.9L TDI, 2.0L 8V, 1.8T, or 2.8L VR6 engines.
• Origin: Proudly designed, engineered, and manufactured in the USA.
