The NM Engineering Adjustable Control Arm Kit is engineered to deliver increased rigidity, precise alignment control, and long-term durability for BMW and MINI platforms. Designed for performance-focused street driving and track use alike, this kit replaces the factory arms with a significantly stronger and more adjustable solution.
Unlike conventional control arms made from smaller-diameter 6061 aluminum, NM Engineering utilizes aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminum, machined into 1-1/4” hex bar stock for superior stiffness and strength. This larger cross-section provides rigidity comparable to steel, while maintaining a favorable weight advantage. Each arm is finished in a titanium-tint Type III / Mil-Spec anodize, enhancing surface hardness, corrosion resistance, and overall longevity.
At each end, the kit features heavy-duty, heat-treated steel rod ends with a self-lubricating nylon race for smooth articulation under load. Fully threaded adjustability allows precise camber tuning to suit aggressive street setups, track alignments, or competition use. To ensure reliability under suspension load, T-303 stainless steel spacers are included to prevent flexing or deformation at the mounting points.
An optional rubber dust boot is available to help shield the rod ends from dirt and debris, reducing the potential for increased noise over time while extending service life.
