Unlike mass-market alternatives constructed from thin stamped metal or porous cast aluminum, this oil pan is CNC-machined from a solid block of premium 6061-T6 billet aluminum. This robust manufacturing method completely eliminates common failure points like manufacturing tolerances, casting porosity, welding imperfections, or structural warpage under extreme heat cycles.
Engineered with performance track duty and street durability in mind, the entire lower surface features integrated cooling fins that harness ambient air to actively drop and stabilize engine oil temperatures. Inside, a complex compartmentalized baffling network prevents engine oil from sloshing away from the oil pickup tube during high-lateral-G cornering. To round out the performance advantages, the pan expands total fluid volume by approximately 1 extra quart/liter, providing a larger thermal buffer and keeping your engine safely lubricated under the most severe driving conditions.
