Short Shift Adapter • F5X/F60

One of our most requested upgrades for the Gen2 MINI is finally available for the entire Gen3 lineup. The NM Engineering Short Shift Adapter is designed for drivers who want a crisp, bolt-action feel without the high cost or complexity of a full shifter housing replacement.

By modifying the geometry at the lower end of your factory shifter, this adapter delivers a significantly shorter throw while maintaining the smooth, precise engagement NM Engineering is known for.

FEATURES

• Precision Engineering: 100% CNC-machined from T303 Stainless Steel for maximum durability and a premium weighted feel.
• Reduced Throw: Shortens gear shift travel by 20mm, allowing for quicker, more engaging transitions between gears.
• OEM Integration: Specifically designed to retain your original shift knob and maintain the factory height and interior aesthetics.
• Smooth Operation: Engineered to eliminate the "notchy" or "clunky" feel often found in inferior adapters—just pure, mechanical precision.
• Direct Fitment: Compatible with all manual transmission Gen3 models, including ALL4 drivetrains.

NOTES

• Ease of Install: This is a "bolt-on" upgrade that installs on the factory shifter assembly. It is not a complete replacement, making the process faster and more accessible for DIYers.
• Comprehensive Guide: Every kit includes full, step-by-step installation instructions to ensure a headache-free upgrade.
• Cost-Effective Performance: Provides the same tactile benefits as high-end short-shifters at a fraction of the production and labor cost.
